So when I managed a relatively ok shot, his owner was so excited that she requested if I could send her the picture too. She was so sincere that I couldn't turn her down, though sending pictures to random strangers wasn't really my style.
But I guess things do happen for a reason. In the midst of sending this picture out, and clearing my mailbox, I chanced upon an ancient email with a quote which touched my soul.
"Friendship isn't about who you have known the longest... but about who came and never left your side."
How very true.
